Mold-Masters close to opening in Michigan

Mold-Masters is close to opening its new service center in Romeo, Mich., outside of Detroit. The facility is now being finished, and is expected to be fully operational by June. It was promoting the new premises at the recent Mold Expo show in Novi, Mich.

The company decided recently to close its operation in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and to move US service and supply nearer to a large percentage of its customer base. Some company employees are moving to Romeo from Spartanburg.

According to Patrick Bennett, executive vice-president, “Our customers asked for a service center which would provide faster response times and part of that means closer proximity to our greatest concentration of customers. The South Carolina facility we felt did not address that need as well as was required to support our future growth. The new Michigan location provides Mold-Masters with a logistical advantage enabling 24/7 service and parts availability.”
