Winter ends, golf season beckons

There may still be slush on the ground in places, but it’s nearly golf season. The CTMA is holding its 10th Annual Shotgun Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 3 at the Pine Knot Golf & Country Club in Dorchester, Ont.. This event has attracted increasingly large numbers of people in the tool, die, mould, pattern and machining industries since it began and organizers expect this year’s tournament to be sold out.

CTMA is also looking for sponsors.

The day begins with a putting contest and registration, beginning at 9:00 am. The Shotgun Tournament starts at 10:30 am, with a boxed-lunch included. The 19th Hole Reception is on the club house terrace, and a steak dinner and awards presentation will complete the day.
