Training and educational seminars
The Canadian Machine Tool, Die and Mold Federation is hosting a training session on June 18 on the topic of Proactive Strategies For Compliance – ‘Discipline For Safety’ Training. Held in Milton, Ont., this four-hour session for managers and supervisors will explain learning how to enforce health and safety standards without resentment, backlash or other negative side effects.

A week later, on June 25, the Auto Parts Manufacturers Association has a seminar on Developing Strategic Business Relationships with the New American OEMs. It will look at the global automotive industry, selling to Japanese OEMs, the Lean approach, and sales and marketing issues.
